Kemeys Inferior, a parish in Monmouthshire, on the river Usk, 3 miles NE of Caerleon, and 3 N by E of Llan-wern station on the G.W.R. Post town, Caerleon, under Newport. Acreage, 1622; population, 122. More than a third of the area is woodland. The ancient manor house is now a farmhouse. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Llandaff; gross value,, £112. The church is good.
