Description
Felliscliffe, a village and a township in Hampsthwaite parish, W. R. Yorkshire, 3 1/2 miles SW of Ripley, and 1 1/2 mile from Birstwith station on the N.E.R. The township includes the hamlets of Kettlesing, Swincliffe, and West Syke Green. Post town, Leeds; money order and telegraph office, Birstwith. Acreage, 2628; population, 278. The Duke of Devonshire is lord of the manor. There is an iron church.
