Fearby, a village and a township in Masham parish, for parochial purposes, and Healey parish for ecclesiastical purposes, N. R. Yorkshire, 2 miles W of Masham station on the N.EtB. There is a post office under Bedale; money order and telegraph office, Masham. Acreage, 892; population, 228. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
