Description
Clint, a village and a township in Ripley parish, W. R. Yorkshire, on the Roman road from Ilkley to Aldborough, 1 1/2 mile WSW of Ripley Valley station on the N.E.R. Post town, Ripley. Acreage, 1946 ; population, 398. It includes the hamlet of Burnt-Yates, and has a free school endowed with £300.
