Cadeby, a township in Sprotbrough parish, W. R. Yorkshire, on the river Don, near the Conisbrough station on the M.S. & L.R., 4 1/2 miles SW by S of Doncaster, which is the post town and telegraph office; money order office, Balby. Acreage, 1234; population, 169. It forms a curacy with Sprotbrough.
