Description
Bowland-Forest, High, a township in Slaidburn and Dale Head parishes, W. R. Yorkshire, on the river Hodder, 10 miles NW of Clitheroe. It includes the hamlets of Dunsop and Battrix. Acreage, 19,750 ; population, 229. There is a Roman Catholic chapel.
