Description
Blubberhouses, a village and a township in Fewston parish, W.R. Yorkshire, 7 miles N by W of Otley, under which there is a post office. Acreage of township, 3767 ; population, 82. Lord Walsingham is lord of the manor. The Brandrith Crags, a range of immense rocks, one of which, about 24 tons in weight, is a rocking stone, are in the neighbourhood. There is a chapel of ease, built in 1851.
