Bilton-with-Harrogate, a township and ecclesiastical parish formed in 1857 from the district parish of Bilton-with-Harrogate, in the W. R. Yorkshire. The township lies on the N.E.R., 2 miles W of Knaresborough. 'The nearest stations are at Harrogate and Starbeck. Post town, Harrogate. Acreage, 4201; population of the township, 14,076; of the ecclesiastical parish, 1047. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Ripon; gross value, £250.
