The manor passed to the Viscounts Southwell, and subsequently to the Allsopp family, now Barons Hindlip. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Worcester; net value, £170 with residence. Patron, Lord Hindlip. The church is Norman, was restored and enlarged in 1864, and again much beautified in 1889 at a cost exceeding £6000, and contains several monuments and tablets.
