Description
Pitton, a chapelry in Parley parish, Wiltshire, 4 miles E by N of Salisbury station on the G.W.R. It has a post office under Salisbury; money order office, Winterslow; telegraph office, Winterbourne Gunner. The living is annexed to Parley, in the diocese of Salisbury. The church is modern. There is an almshouse hospital.
