Description

Braiseworth or Breisworth, a parish in Suffolk, 2 miles SSW of Eye station on the G.E.R., and 3 1/2 SE of Mellis. Post town, Eye, which is the money order and telegraph office. Acreage, 730 ; population, 119. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; gross value, £185 with residence. The church, a building of flint in the Norman style, was erected in 1857.
