Boyton, a parish in Suffolk, on the river Aide, near Hollesley Bay, 4 miles WSW of Orford, and 7 SE of Melton station on the G.E.R. The church, a Gothic building of stone, was rebuilt in 1869-70, with the exception of the tower. There are a reading-room, a recreation ground, and endowed almshouses for 12 men and 12 women.
