Description

Blaxhall, a village and a parish in Suffolk, on the river Aide, 2 miles NE of Wickham-Market Junction station on the G.E.R., and 5 SSW of Saxmundham, with a post office under Wickham-Market; money order and telegraph office, Tunstall. Acreage, 2018 ; population, 567. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich ; net value, £456 with residence. The church, a building of brick in the Early English style, was restored in 1863. The manor belongs to the Earl of Guilford.
