Description
Bedfield, a village and a parish in Suffolk, 4 miles NW of Framlingham station on the G.E.R., with a post office under Framlingham (R.S.O.), which is the telegraph office; money order office, Worlingworth. Acreage, 1270 ; population, 357. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich ; net yearly value, £253, with 18 acres of glebe and residence, in the gift of the Earl of Stradbroke. The church is an ancient edifice of flint in the Perpendicular style.
