Description

Ashfield or Ashfield-with-Thorpe, a parish in Suffolk, 3 miles ESE of Debenham, and 6 from Framlingham station on the G.E.R. Post town, Debenham, which is the money order and telegraph office. Acreage, 1580; population, 194. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Ely. Patron, Lord Henniker. The church is a brick structure of 1853.
