Description

Akenham, a parish in Suffolk, near Gipping River, 2 miles E of Claydon station on the G.E.R., and 4 N by W of Ipswich. Post town, Claydon, which is the money order and telegraph office. Acreage, 1017; population, 116. The living is a rectory, annexed to Claydon, in the diocese of Norwich; net value, £460. The church is old but good.
