Forsbrook, a township in Dilhorne parish, and an ecclesiastical parish in Dilhorne and Stone parishes, Staffordshire. The township lies near Blyth Bridge station on the North Staffordshire railway, 3 miles WSW of Cheadle. The township includes the hamlet of Blyth Marsh. Post town and money order office, Blyth Bridge, under Stoke-upon-Trent; telegraph office, at the railway station. The ecclesiastical parish comprises nearly all the township, includes only a small part of Stone parish, and was constituted in 1849. Population, 1228. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Lichfield; gross value, ££266 with residence. Patron, the Bishop of Lichfield. The church is modem. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
