Description
Withiel Florey, a parish in Somerset, 6 miles from Morebath station on the G.W.R. Post town, Washford. Acreage, 2483; population, 114. A portion of Brendon Hill is within the limits. Iron and coal were at one time worked, but the mines have been closed for some years. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Bath and Wells; net value, £57. The church is old with an embattled western tower, and has been restored.
