Description
Gremton, or Grenton, a parish in Somerset, 4 miles S of Shapwick station on the Somerset and Dorsetshire railway, and 6 SW by W of Glastonbury. Post town, Bridgwater; money order office, Shapwick; telegraph office, Shapwick Road station. Acreage, 880; population, 108. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells; gross value, £120 with residence. The church consists of nave and chancel, with a tower.
