Description
Bawdrip, a parish in Somerset, 3 miles NE of Bridgewater station on the G.W.R. It has a post office under Bridgewater ; telegraph office, Cossington railway station. Acreage, 1898; population, 340. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells; gross value, £350 with residence. The church is ancient and cruciform. There are Congregational and Wesleyan chapels.
