Description
Badgworth a parish in Somerset, 3 miles SW of Axbridge station on the G.W.R. Post town, Axbridge near Weston-super-Mare. Acreage, 1772 ; population of the civil parish,. 257 ; of the ecclesiastical, 263. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells; net value, £480 with residence. The church is good. An organ was erected in 1873 and enlarged in 1888.
