Frodesley, Shropshire

Frodesley, a village and a parish in Salop, on Watling Street, 3 miles E of Dorrington station on the Shrewsbury and Hereford (L. & N.W. and G.W.) Joint railway, and 8 SE of Shrewsbury, with a post office under Shrewsbury; money order and telegraph office, Dorrington. Acreage, 2262; population, 179. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lichfield; net value, £308 with residence. The church was rebuilt in 1809 and enlarged in 1859.
