Mollington, a parish, formerly in Oxfordshire and Warwickshire, but for administrative purposes it is now wholly in Oxfordshire, 1 1/2 mile NW of Cropredy station on the Oxford and Birmingham section of the G.W.R., and 4 1/2 miles N by W of Banbury. It has a post office under Banbury; monev order and telegraph office, Farnborough. Acreage, 1441'; population, 244. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Oxford; net value, £130 with residence. Patron. the Bishop of Oxford. The church is an ancient building of stone in the Early English and Decorated styles, consisting of chancel, nave, N aisle, S porch, and a western Perpendicular tower. It has a Transition Norman font and some ancient monuments.
