Description
Faringdon, Little, a township and an ecclesiastical parish formed in 1864 in Langford parish, Oxfordshire, 2 miles NE of Lechlade. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Lechlade. Acreage, 1167; population, 132. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Oxford; net yearly value, £139 with residence, in the gift of the Bishop of Oxford. The church is an ancient building of stone in the Transition, Norman, and Later styles.
