Horsepath, a village and a parish in Oxfordshire. The village stands under a hill, 2 miles W by S from Wheatley station on the G.W.R., and 4 ESE from Oxford. Post town, money order, and telegraph office, Wheatley. Acreage, 1154; population, 330. The manor belongs to the Earl of Mactles-field. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Oxford; net value, £114. Patron, Magdalen College, Oxford. The church is an ancient cruciform building of stone in mixed styles, consists of nave and chancel with a tower, and has in its tower wall two rude figures, said to be those of its founders. There is a small Wesleyan chapel.
