Description
Fringford, a parish in Oxfordshire, near the boundary with Bucks, 4 miles NNE of Bicester station on the L. & N.W.R. It has a post and money order office under Bicester; telegraph office, Stratton Audley. Fringford Lodge and Cotmore House are chief residences. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Oxford; net yearly value, £300 with residence. Patron, the Lord Chancellor. The church has a fine Norman doorway, and is good.
