Description
Tollerton, a village and a parish in Notts, 4 miles SSE of Nottingham, and 1 1/2 mile from Plumtree station on the M.R. Post town and money order office, Nottingham; telegraph office, Plumtree (R.S.) Acreage, 1216; population, 123. Tollerton Hall is the residence of the lord of the manor. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Southwell; gross value, £290 with residence. The church is good, and consists of chancel, with a mausoleum attached, nave with clerestory, aisles, and embattled western tower.
