Description
Haughton, a parish in Notts, 1 1/4 mile NE of Walesby, and 4 1/2 WNW of Tuxford station on the G.N.R. Post town, Walesby, under Newark; money order and telegraph office, Ollerton. Acreage, 1020; population, 44. The church is in ruins, and was once the burial-place of the Earls of Clare.
