Description
Felley, a small township and a parish, in Notts, near Annesley Hall, 6 1/2 miles SSW of Mansfield. Post town, Nottingham. Acreage, 413; population, 44. A small priory of black canons, under Worksop Abbey, was founded here in 1152 by Ralph de Brito, and some remains of it still exist.
