Description
Thorngrafton, a township in Haltwhistle parish, Northumberland, on the Roman wall, 1 mile from Bardon Mill station on the N.E.R., and a miles ENE of Haltwhistle. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Bardon Mill. Acreage, 4355 of land and 169 of water; population, 273. There are sand and iron stone quarries and a colliery.
