Beal, Northumberland

Description
Beal, a hamlet in Kyloe parish, Northumberland, on the N.E.R., opposite Holy Island, 8 1/2 miles SE of Berwick. It includes Lowlin, and has a station on the railway and a post office (R.S.O.) It was the residence of the famous Irish female saint, Begogh.
