Haddon, East, a village and a parish in Northamptonshire. The village stands 1 1/2 mile from Althorp Park station on the L. & N.W.R., and 7 1/2 miles NW from Northampton, and has a post, money order, and telegraph office under Northampton. The parish comprises 2753 acres; population, 486. Haddon Hall is a chief residence. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Peterborough; net value, £175 with residence. The church is an ancient building of stone in the Decorated and Perpendicular styles, and consists of nave, aisle, and chancel, with porch and embattled tower.
