Description
Duddington, a parish in Northamptonshire, on the river Welland, at the boundary with Rutland, 3 miles SE from Ketton station on the M.R., and 5 SW from Stamford. It has a post, money order, and telegraph office under Stam-ford. Acreage, 1417 ; population, 321. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Peterborough ; net yearly value, £95, with residence, and 32^ acres of land. Patron, the Bishop of Peterborough. The church is ancient but good, with a tower and short spire, and there is a Congregational chapel.
