Description
Woodrising, a parish in Norfolk, 2 miles WNW of Hing-ham, and 4 3/4 W by S of Hardingham station on the G.E.R. Post town, Thetford. Acreage, 1421; population, 90. Woodrising Hall is the chief residence. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; net value, £180 with residence. The church is a small building in the Perpendicular style, and contains a monument to Sir Francis Crane.
