Description
Winch, West, a parish, with a village, in Norfolk, 3 miles S of Lynn station on the G.E.R. It has a post and money order office under Lynn; telegraph office, Lynn. Acreage, 1188; population, 421. There is a parish council consisting of seven members. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; gross value, £330. Patron, the Lord Chancellor. The church is an ancient building of flint and rubble in the Early English style. There are Wesleyan and Primitive Methodist chapels.
