Bradenham, West, a village and a parish in Norfolk, os the river Wissey, 3 1/2 miles S by W of Wendling station on the G.E.R., and 5 1/2 SW by W of East Dereham. There is a post and money order office under Watton (S.O.); telegraph office, Shipdham. Acreage of parish, 1702; population, 279. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Norwich; net value,. £194 with residence. Patron, the Bishop of Norwich. The church, an ancient building of flint in the Perpendicular and Early English styles, was restored in 1857. Bradenham Hall is a chief residence.
