Tunstead, a parish in Norfolk, 2 1/2 miles from Wroxham station on the G.E.R., and 3 NE of Coltishall. Post town, Scottow, under Norwich. Acreage, 2295; population of the civil parish, 437; of the ecclesiastical, with South Ruston, 552. There is a parish council of seven members and a chairman. The living is a vicarage, united with South Ruston, in the diocese of Norwich; gross value, £250 with residence. The church is a large and ancient building of flint and stone in the Perpendicular style, and contains a beautiful screen.
