Description
Trimingham, a parish in Norfolk, on the coast, 3 miles from Gunton station on the G.E.R., and 5 from Cromer. It has a post and money order office under North Walsham; telegraph office, Mundesley. Acreage, 566; population, 197. The manor belongs to Lord Suffield. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; net value, £100 with residence. Patron, the Duchy of Lancaster. The church is an ancient structure of flint in the Perpendicular style. The parish has been much diminished by the encroachments of the sea.
