Description
Tibenham, a parish, with a village, in Norfolk, 2 miles NW of Tivetshall station on the G.E.R., and 7 1/2 S by E of Wymondham. It has a post office under Long Stratton; money order and telegraph office, Long Buckenham. Acreage, 3296; population, 628. There is a parish council consisting of seven members. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Norwich; net value, £200 with residence. Patron, the Bishop of Norwich. The church is a building of flint and stone in the Decorated and Perpendicular styles, with a handsome embattled tower, and a fine peal of six bells.
