Sustead, a parish in Norfolk, 6 miles NW from Gunton station on the Cromer branch of the G.E.R. Post town, Norwich, via Hanworth; money order and telegraph office, Gresham. Acreage, 522; population, 125. The manor belongs to the Ketton family. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Norwich; gross value, £33 with residence. The church is a somewhat small edifice of flint chiefly in the Decorated and Perpendicular styles. There is a Primitive Methodist chapel.
