Suffield, a parish in Norfolk, 3 1/4 miles WNW of North Walsham, and 1 1/2 mile N from Felmingham station on the Midland and Great Northern Joint railway. It has a post office under Norwich; money order and telegraph office, Hanworth. Acreage, 1466; population, 236. There is a parish council consisting of five members. The manor belongs to Lord Suffield and gives him his title, and he is also sole landowner. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; net value, £203 with residence. Patron, Lord Suffield. The church, which was well restored in 1868, is a building of stone and flint in the Gothic style.
