Description
Wootton, South, a parish in Norfolk, 1 1/2 mile from North Wootton station on the G.E.R., and 2 1/2 miles NNE of Lynn. It has a post office under Lynn; money order and telegraph office, Lynn. Acreage, 1555; population, 152. The parish council has six members. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; net value, £160 with residence. Patron, the Lord Chancellor. The church, restored in 1893, is an ancient cruciform structure in the Early English style.
