Description
Pensthorpe, a parish in Norfolk, on the river Wensum, 2 miles ESE of Fakenham stations on the Great Eastern and the Midland and Great Northern Joint railways. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Fakenham. Acreage, 754; population, 47. The living is a sinecure rectory in the diocese of Norwich; gross value, £120. The church has long since fallen into ruins. Some Roman urns and other relics have been found.
