Description
Ingworth, a village and a parish in Norfolk, on the river Bnre, 2 miles N from Aylsham station on the G.E.R., and 1 1/2 mile from Aylsham Town station on the Midland and Great Northern Joint railway, with a post office under Norwich; money order and telegraph office, Aylsham. Acreage, 523; population, 150. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwicli; net value, £139. The church is ancient, in fairly good condition, and formerly had a round tower which fell in 1822. There is a Wesleyan Reformers' chapel.
