Hoveton St Peter, a parish in Norfolk, near the river Bure, 9 miles NE from Norwich, and 1 1/2 mile from Wroxham station on the G.E.R. Post town, Norwich; money order .and telegraph office, Wroxham. Acreage, 975; population, 136. Hoveton Hall is a fine mansion standing in a park of 200 acres. The living is a vicarage, united with the perpetual curacy of Hoveton St John, in the diocese of Norwich; joint net value, £202 with residence. Patron, the Bishop of Norwich. The church is a brick structure of 1624, and was restored in 1885.
