Hardingham, a parish in Norfolk, on the Dereham Junction of the G.E.R., 5 1/2 miles NW from Wymondham. It has a station on the railway, and a post and money order office under Attleborough; telegraph office, Hingham. Acreage, 2418; population, 528. i The manor of Hardingham and Flockthorpe belongs to the Earl of Rimberley. Hardingham Hall is the chief residence. Hardingham Grove is a modern mansion of red brick, very pleasantly situated. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; net yearly value, £540 with residence. Patron, Clare College, Cambridge. The church is Early English, and in excellent repair. Sir Thomas Gresham was a native.
