Guestwick, a village and a parish in Norfolk, adjacent to the river Bure, with a station on the Midland & G.N. Joint railway, 1 mile S from the village, and 2 1/2 miles NE from Foulsham. There is a post office under East Dereham; money order office, Foulsham; telegraph office, Guestwick railway station. Acreage, 1664; population, 190. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Norwich; net yearly value, £95 with residence. The church is a neat edifice with a pinnacled tower. There is an ancient Congregational chapel. Godwin the novelist was a native.
