Frenze, an ecclesiastical parish in the civil parish of Scole, Norfolk, on the S border of the county, and on an affluent of the river Waveney, near Diss station on the G.E.R., 1 1/2 mile E by N of Diss. Population, 42> Post town, money order, and telegraph office, Diss, -The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; gross yearly value, o£80. The church, a small but .ancient edifice of rubble in the Early English style, has eight brasses of the Blennerhassetts, and is good, Freshfield, a railway station in Lancashire, on the L. & Y.R., between Formby and Ainsdale. There is a post, money order, and telegraph office under Liverpool.
