Description
Edgefield, a parish in Norfolk, 3 miles S from Holt station, and 3 NE from Melton Constable station on the Eastern and Midland railway. It has a post and money order office under East Dereham; telegraph office, Melton Constable. Acreage, 2482 ; population, 452. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; value, £373 with residence. the church is a large building of flint, rubble, and freestone, in the Early English style, and there is a Primitive Methodist cliapel.
