Colton, a village and a parish in Norfolk, on the river Yare, 3 1/2 miles NNE of Kimberley station on the G.E.R., and 5^ N of Wymondham, with a post office under Norwich; money order and telegraph office, Honingham. Acreage,. 920 ; population, 239. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; value, £202. Patron, the Lord Chancellor. The church is a small building of flint in the Early English style.
